SO REWARDING: I was not present at one of our home churches yesterday. When I eventually met them after service, a brother walked up to me and said, "pastor, we didn't miss you". He said that because there were members on ground who could explain the scriptures and answer questions with revelations that set others free. It was after I got delivered from religion that I realized Jesus was not looking for followers to depend on HIS annointing, rather He was raising people who could do more than He did in ministering to others. So, when Jesus cursed a fig tree, He told his followers they could move mountain. He also told them, the things I do you too can do, and even greater works than I did. The new testament church was never supposed to be a one man show. And the responsibility of those called into the 5 fold ministry is to equip God's people for the work of ministry.
