My Story of Repentance: I was so ashamed, I swore never to do it again. I went to primary school were everyone came barefooted. And my mother bought me a sandal. I was so happy that I wore the sandal to school the next Monday. And it turned out to be one of the greatest mistakes I ever made. When I arrived, I looked different from everyone else, and those kids laughed me to scorn. They mocked me to shame. They laughed and rolled on the floor. Meanwhile, there was nothing wrong with my sandal. It looked very beautiful and it fitted very well. But what was the problem? I LOOKED DIFFERENT. They laughed at me because I looked different. They laughed at me because I did not look like them. They felt I was trying to prove that I was better than them, meanwhile, that thought never crossed my heart. I was only trying to enjoy my mothers gift of love. And I could not wait to remove the sandal. I cried home that day and swore never to try it again. And I completed primary school barefooted. FOOTBALL IS SIN.... During my secondary school days, I was a good football (soccer) player, I know some of you wont believe now, but it doesnt change the fact. I even had a reputation. But i had a classmate who was so good that even we looked up to his skills, we nicknamed him Tigana. But on resumption after one of those long vacs, he abruptly stopped playing, A game he loved and was so good at. We were shocked beyond belief. We wanted to find out what happened, and the response was "He is born again now and cant play football again because football is sin". They said, it was sin because it did not give God glory. What? I have no idea what happened to him after he left school and were he is now, but I always remember him. Perhaps, a career in football was killed because ignorant people will not stop inventing sin. Jeans trouser was sin as well as any type of styled clothing and hair-cut. Please here me out, the gospel of sin, is not the gospel of Christ. It does not save neither does it deliver rather, it does the opposite, I puts people in bondage. Some of those who preached sin all the way may have repented now, but it may have also cost people the blessings of God. CURE YOUR BLINDNESS. Dear Theologian, Bible Teacher, Pastor, Prophet, Rabbi, Miracle Worker, Apostle, Law maker, As a way of life, they studied, memorized, and practiced the scriptures. They even attained expert status with the scriptures just like a lawyer with a constitution. And, for centuries, they read the scriptures concerning the coming of the Messiah Sabbath after Sabbath, yet when He showed up, they not only failed to recognize Him, but saw Him as an enemy of God. Isaiah 53 detailed the work of Christ in prophecy, and Isaiah 54, tells us what will happen after Christ finished His work. Read verses 9 and 10. God SWORE, 9 “Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. 10 For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you. Today, after Christ has finished His work, if you preach an angry God, you have not seen Christ, you are blind. The God of anger you preach to the people is your own anger. If you have seen Christ, our message of God's unchanging love will not offend nor irritate you. The God who will send a virus to punish, correct, or get our attention exist only in your own self-righteous head. The God who will help you assassinate your enemies, is the god created by your own anger. Because I am still learning of His love, I may stop to love a person, but God hasn't. I may give up on someone but God will not. That I am angry with with you does not mean God is. Have we not called the God of anger when we are angry? Have we not called the God of punishment when we are offended? You are too careful and more concerned than God that if we preach too much love, people will live reckless lives and become a danger to themselves and the society. But it is because you have not experienced God's love in your own heart. If you did, you will know that no man has the love of God in his heart and rapes. You will know that no man has the love of God in his heart and murders. You will testify that no man has the love of God in his own heart and exploits others for his own gain. But, It is true that "Nemo dat quod non habet,", no man gives what he does not have; so, search your own heart, and if you find the God who loves WITHOUT condition, you will also preach the God who loves WITHOUT condition. I have seen that those who in their own delusion think they are good; those whose spirit has been fooled to see their own righteousness and good works are the ones who, though may not say it openly, but they wish we balance the God of love with the God that hates. That is, He loves you when you are good, but hates you when you are bad. I am sorry, that god is you. Religion is a Killer: Here is why I preferred there was no God. I had moments when I thought to myself, wouldn't it be better there was no God? At-least, perhaps, I will find some peace knowing that I have no God to offend. Why? Because I did all I could to please Him, but they told me He wasn't pleased. I did all in my power to keep all His laws but just when I felt I had arrived, I was handed more laws, more rules, and more requirements. I serve dutifully in one department, I was pulled by the side and told God will be happier if I also joined other departments. I came to church every Sunday dutifully by 6 am, I was told much earlier would be better. They said if I paid my tithe, God will open the windows of heavens, and I paid my tithe, then they said the blessing will come from first fruits or that I must give God my Isaac. Some painful sacrifice...that only painful sacrifice will move Him. Ok Now, It is no longer about blessing, but God just said, I should forget coming to heaven if I don't pay my tithe. If I prayed for 1 hr, it couldn't move God. I needed more hours. If I prayed long by the day, they said, the blessing is in midnight prayers. I had needs and I cried before God and prayed with faith in my heart but God was withholding the answers because I had not prayed well enough, long enough, and hard enough. If, I read, one chapter of the Bible, it wasn't enough, because God was waiting to bless me in the next chapter. So, I wasn't reading my bible to understand, I was just reading to make God happy. I eventually read the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. After all these, they said, perhaps nothing much was happening because of my sins or the sins of my forefathers. Now, I needed to travel back to my village to "bring repentance" and confess all the sins of my ancestors. I could not do it in the city where I lived, for it to work, I must return to my village to confess from there, only then, will God hear and forgive. Ok now, it is the devil I must fight. God has done it but you know your enemies can change your destiny, So, I must now engage in warfare with witches, wizards, enemies from my village, occultic powers, marine spirits, spirit wife....etc. Ah ah ok, I almost forgot. God has done it but it has not manifested because you are not winning souls. The blessing is now in evangelism. And not only must you win souls but you must also make sure they remain. Yep, I was told that.. unless the soul remained, the blessing will not come. Ok now, it is the power of fasting. You need more fasting to unlock heavens. Ok. Perhaps, you need more praise. What prayer cannot get you, praise will get you. If you praise Him for his finger, you will see his hands. If you praise Him for his toes, you will see his legs. You need to offer more praise, because only praise can bring Him down more quickly. God cannot ignore praise. I was in this bondage for 19 years. Until, Christ found me. He told me God was already pleased with me on His account. He told me, I am already blessed because I am in Union with Him. I now know what He meant, when He said, "come unto me all you who are weary and carry heaven burdens, and I will give you rest" Amazingly, I have done much more in these few years from the place of rest than all the 19 years combined. By this grace, I have preached more, given more, served more, prayed more, and live more for Him. Listen my friend, if you are in that journey, it will never end. It only ends when you find out that all you are trying to do, Christ has done it for you. Note: With all due respect, I wrote to help free those who are in religious bondage.
