A MUST READ: THE WORST IS TO FIGHT GOD WITHOUT KNOWING YOU ARE FIGHTING HIM. For centuries, the Jews gave their lives to prayer and worship waiting for the Messiah.(many of them are still waiting). But when He came, they fought Him with their lives. Why? They were looking for physical deliverance for Israel. Even His own disciples followed Him for this reason. (Acts 1:6. Luke 24:21). They thought the Messiah was to redeem Israel from physical, political, and economic problems. (When He arrived, they were under Roman occupation). You have been looking for Revival, for glory, for a time of miracles when the blind will see, the lame will walk, the dead will be raised; and just like them, all you are thinking is physically lame, blind, and dead. So, suddenly, the knowledge of Christ is increasing that those who are dead may have His life, the blind may see Him, and the lame may rise and walk in the newness of His life; and just like them, you are fighting Him by fighting His knowledge. The religious establishment of His day fought Him the hardest because they wanted Him to sound like them. Bow to them. Be endorsed by them. Follow their tradition. But their mission was to protect the establishment, His mission was to save the lost sheep of His Father. So, one whose side are you? Chidi Jacob
