My Story of Repentance: I was so ashamed, I swore never to do it again. I went to primary school were everyone came barefooted. And my mother bought me a sandal. I was so happy that I wore the sandal to school the next Monday. And it turned out to be one of the greatest mistakes I ever made. When I arrived, I looked different from everyone else, and those kids laughed me to scorn. They mocked me to shame. They laughed and rolled on the floor. Meanwhile, there was nothing wrong with my sandal. It looked very beautiful and it fitted very well. But what was the problem? I LOOKED DIFFERENT. They laughed at me because I looked different. They laughed at me because I did not look like them. They felt I was trying to prove that I was better than them, meanwhile, that thought never crossed my heart. I was only trying to enjoy my mothers gift of love. And I could not wait to remove the sandal. I cried home that day and swore never to try it again. And I completed primary school barefooted. Today, like in that day, I have been insulted and called names including heretic for showing off the love I have received from God the Father. They call me "dispensationalist", hyper grace teacher, they say we are fighting the body of Christ, but the difference is this: I am no longer that kid in the village. And if you think I will change to fit into your "customs and traditions", sorry, just unfriend me now and delete my contact if you have it. Chidi Jacob

TO THE WISE: If you remove the lie “traditional” from “marriage”, the truth “marriage” stands out. And anywhere and anytime you perform “a marriage” rite, you are married; and as a married couple, every other thing becomes what you make necessary. Chidi Jacob
