If this is not nollywood movie, then this man is a product of what he has been taught. So he believes, he can walk into his boss' office and command him to sign papers in the name of Jesus. It is no different from the millions who has been brainwashed to see God as their personal assassin. So they gather to call on Him to kill their perceived and imaginary enemies.
