"Our best efforts and hard work mean nothing. It takes very little to trip. Years of what we consider hard work and toil can be undone in one moment. Until we learn to realize we are nothing. That we have no power of our own and that its all by grace and dependence on him, we will continue in the rat race trying to be good but there is no good in us without him." Let alone, man does not have what it takes to be good without repeated failure. Unless we understand this, we will continue to give them good, powerful, passionate, and reasonable speeches on critical virtues like integrity and self control, but they will continue to do and live otherwise.
